I wanted this piece to look as if the leaves could almost have been fossilized into the surface of the cones, to look as if it could have remained undiscovered on a forest floor for hundreds of years. Tiny holes have been pierced through the surface to resemble little leaf buds.
This bowl is approximately 30cm in diameter and 6cm deep.
