Earth and Fire International Ceramic Fair is one of the country's premier ceramic events taking place every year in North Nottinghamshire.
For over twenty years, selected potters from across the UK and mainland Europe have come to sell direct to the public from outdoor market stalls.
The event attracts collectors, gallery owners, enthusiasts and the general public alike, who flock to Rufford to meet and talk to the potters selling everything from garden planters and sculptures, to bowls, pie dishes, teapots, mugs, plates and egg cups.
2017 is an exciting year for Earth & Fire as we move to a fantastic new site. We are not going far – we are moving to Welbeck, home of the Harley Gallery and the Portland Collection - a beautiful site a mere 10 miles north of our old site at Rufford.
Whilst the backdrop will change, the spirit of Earth & Fire will remain the same with the hustle and bustle of the market stalls, the demonstrations, trade stalls, the mayhem of the potters games.
