This piece was inspired by microscopic plant structures and has a bark like texture. It casts beautiful subtle shadows.
The bowl is 50cm in diameter and is constructed from a beautiful black stoneware and fired to 1200 degrees Celsius. It is entirely made by hand and each piece is totally unique. Areas have been hand gilded with 24ct gold leaf.
