Seedpods were the inspiration for this piece. Sage and lavender leaves have been rolled onto the surface of the clay leaving behind a skeletal imprint, almost like the fossilized wing of a dragonfly. Tiny holes have been pierced through the surface to represent buds.
The pod is constructed from white earthenware clay and fired to 1120 degrees Celcius.
